Juan Sanchez

Juan studied architecture at the ETSAC (Escuela técnica Superior de Arquitectura de A Coruña), finishing in 2010 and immediately after, enrolling in a restoration master degree to complement all those things learned until that moment.

After the university period, he started to work in a construction company with jobs in the north of A Coruna putting in practice the technical and structural knowledge learned, applied to residential and industrial projects in their different design and construction stages.

London brought him into the Will Alsop studio (All Design), an awarded and well recognised architect, followed by a period at Tim Flynn Architects, where he was involved in a big scale project, the UWC Dilijan Collage in Armenia.

In the recent years, at Maxwell and Company London, he focused on high end residential projects. A comfortable battleground where to control all of the stages, factors and agents involved in the design and construction process.

International projects and collaborations with other colleagues is in his DNA. So far his work is spread between London and Galicia, although a big percentage of the production has been done in England, he has never forgotten his homeland. Nowadays remote work it is more feasible than ever thanks to the technology and the easy communications, which keeps his intentions to increase his network and connections that allows to preserve this duality of working between two countries with the same goal, making architecture.

Juan is a member of the RIBA and ARB in the UK, and of the COAG in Galicia.
